Everything was top notch from staff to food to entertainment to facilities. I have to give a special shout out to our amazing personal Butler, Arturo, who made our stay so much easier and better.

The property itself was beautiful. Lovely landscaping, and very peaceful environment. We had some problems with our room. The rooms are somewhat dated, and our ceiling started leaking, with plaster falling to the ground. Our butler, Rodney, responded quickly and had a maintenance team come to fix the ceiling. We did not change rooms. We especially enjoyed the quiet pools outside our room. There were few people using them, and sometimes we had a pool all to ourselves. We like that this property is connected to adjoining Palladium properties, as that made our options for dining more interesting. Golf carts were available to ferry people around the property. Unfortunately, sargassum was a problem on the beach. The hotel works hard to deal with the issue, but it’s a natural climate phenomenon and not something easily managed. This was our first all-inclusive resort, and in many ways it exceeded our expectations. It’s so nice not to have to purchase food and drink multiple times a day. We also had a butler, Rodny. He contacted us each morning and asked about our needs for the day, as well as making our dinner reservations for the week. One night we were surprised with a bubble bath and champagne. This was a service we greatly appreciated!

To the Management of Excellence El Carmen, My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful resort from July 4th to July 8th, and we felt compelled to acknowledge the truly outstanding service we received. We had an absolutely excellent time, and this was largely due to the dedication and professionalism of your entire team. We would particularly like to commend Marleny, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional despite our dietary restrictions. Her efforts to specially order dishes for us and confirm our satisfaction at every meal were incredibly thoughtful and deeply appreciated. Marleny's commitment made a significant difference in our ability to fully enjoy the resort's culinary offerings. In addition to Marleny, we were consistently impressed by the entire staff. The concierge team was incredibly helpful, assisting us with all our needs. Our room was immaculately cleaned every day by the Waiter and waitress, cleaning staff, who ensured we always had everything we required. The pool staff, bell boys, and other concierge members were all professional, courteous, and always ready to assist.
