A really well situated, comfortable and affordable stop-over hotel, perfect for short breaks and close to lots of great areas of London. A short walk from Liverpool St station and just 4 stops to the ExCel Arena. I stay here fairly frequently to visit photo spots like Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Shoreditch, Barbican etc but it's equally as easy to get into the West End too. The staff are super friendly and helpful; the continental breakfast is okay but if you want something more fulfilling there are loads of places to eat close by. Rooms are small but comfortable so it's perfect for weekends away. I travel a fair bit and this is my go to for a short trip to London. Yes, you can over pay for a luxury 5-star Savoy type of hotel if you want to but London's expensive enough as it is, so this place is ideal for the price.

"Very very basic, gives almost off hostel vibes, room tiny for 3 of us. Shower in bedroom so no privacy but fine for what we needed. Some things not in best repair such as decor, carpets, but the bedding and toilet were clean. No amenities such as a kettle, was ok to stay just for one brief night ..."
