Madeira Island Ski Holidays

The hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are noisy at night. By 2:00 a.m., street noise and traffic can be heard . There is no on-site parking, so guests must use street parking and renew it by 8:00 a.m. ( free from 8 pm to 8am). Some rooms are below ground level (labelled Level 1, when in reality is -1). On a positive note, the reception staff is efficient and responsive. We were not initially given the room type we had booked, but the issue was resolved and we were moved to the correct room on the second night. Housekeeping could also be improved, particularly the bathroom cleaning. The Wi‑Fi was also frequently disconnected. We paid CAD 327 per night during the August high season, and at that price the hotel feels overpriced, especially since neither breakfast, nor parking is included. Overall, the value for money is disappointing.

Awesome location, we enjoyed spending time at the pool with a great view on the city.

One negative issue but I figured it out.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were welcoming and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

If it’s your first time in Madeira I’d suggest staying somewhere in city center, it takes 15 mins to get to this hotel. Very nice property and amenities. The staff and service is weak , shortage of staff. The breakfast buffet for a 5 starvhotel and the price was so weak as weak.
