Beautiful location & hotel was nice. The staff was friendly & useful. The only negatives we found were 1. The floors were very noisy/squeaky 2. We stayed there on a Summer day/evening, there was no fans or air conditioning so the room was very warm

Incredible full service resort with tons of activities in a lovely setting in the Highlands!

For me this was a prefect location to get around the island and particularly so if you're a malt whisky fan. Reception and restaurant/ bar staff can't do enough to help and will point you in the right direction as regards transport requirements. It's my 2nd time on Islay and I will return again, I'm sure. The restaurant prices on Islay are fairly pricey but a lot has to be imported into the island so it's to be expected.

Wonderful old building right on the harbour, huge comfortable bed, powerful shower. Staff were fantastic and the breakfast was excellent. Nice pub downstairs too.

Staff a bit tricky re booking tables to eat. Reception didn’t say a thing but I felt like we got into trouble trying to get dinner. Just a heads up to anyone - book a table. Food and venue was beautiful all the same.
