North Dorset District Ski Holidays

Room was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we felt the quality of the food didn’t reflect the price. We paid around £100 for an evening meal which included two mains, a shared Camembert to start, and two drinks, but we didn’t feel the quality of the food justified the price tag. The meal itself was quite bland and lacked imagination. The sauce with the main was overly salty, and the bread was extremely dry, as though it had been left under a hot lamp for some time before being served. Breakfast was also disappointing. We again felt the food may have been cooked some time before serving. The mushrooms were dry and had very little taste, and both the meat and eggs had a slight fishy residue taste. Next time we would probably choose to have breakfast elsewhere. It’s a shame, because aside from the food, everything else about our stay was fantastic and the staff were lovely.

We had a lovely spacious room. The car parking was tight and the car park is small but we got a space. To be fair , it wasn't helped by some poor parking by other cars. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel but enjoyed a really good breakfast. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable as one of us is coeliac. Everything on the buffet was clearly marked for allergens. We will definitely return. A nice welcome from the guy on Reception, a good night's sleep and a hearty delicious breakfast in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds.

We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lovely kids’ room and outdoor space that our little one really enjoyed. It’s also amazing for dogs, which made travelling with our pet so easy and enjoyable. We stayed in the 4-bedroom Grand Cottage, which was fantastic. Having private parking and easy access to all the facilities made everything very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.
