3 Star Hotels in North Shore, Blackpool

"The food and choice was good and the Entertainment was good. But some of the bed rooms are in need of upgrading we ended up in a room in the middle of the building so when you looked out all you could see was roof tops and pipes on the buildings down below also the entrance to bath room had a very low door way which if you are 5 foot like me is ok but my other is 5 foot seven so he had to duck or bang is head on the door frame plus you had to go down a step not good"

"The staff were good. The breakfast was great. Room rates very reasonable. We were given a sea view room that was large with plenty of space."

"Arrived and the first thing that struck us was the 10 or so steps at the front door to get up to the reception area, not easy for older people with a heavy suitcase, we then stood around 10 minutes waiting to check in as there was no staff at reception. Then told that parking was £10 per night which we hadn’t seen listed anywhere, we also had to pay a £150.00 damage deposit (Refundable) which we also knew nothing about, we’re in our 60’s, we’re hardly going to wreck the room! We did consider going somewhere else at this point but the girl on reception said that since we’d had a bit of hassle checking in she’d upgrade our room! If the room we got was an upgrade we’d worry greatly about what they were going to put us in to begin with, the bed would have been great if we were both 5”5 and 7.5st, my feet were hanging off the end of the bed all night, they obviously don’t cater for people of 6ft, the shower was a step over bath with a curtain that sticks to you, how very 70’s! The room was very warm so we opened the top windows then were alarmed to hear some crashing & banging, the breeze coming into the room was lifting the tiles in the false ceiling at both the entrance and the bathroom, needless to say we had to close the window! We were meant stop for three nights but decided to cut our losses and head home after two nights. Never again will we opt for a so called “cheaper hotel” as sometimes pictures on selling sites can be deceiving! Overall, very disappointed…"

"Food was lovely all fresh .staff where brilliant breakfast was lovely everthing was lovely the only downside was would ha ebeen nice to havea couple of choices of different largers on draught only because thats mostly what i drink when having a drink that is otherwise everthing was brilliant defiantly go again "

"Parking and check in easy. Staff really friendly. The room was clean and plenty of tea and coffee. Really great location, easy walk to the town centre. The bathroom had a strong damp smell and the bed was very uncomfortable (solid with massive lump in the middle), however, it looks like they are in tbe middle of improvements, so hopefully this will be rectified soon. Will definitely return."

"Hotel in good location. Parking available which was good. Breakfast was lovely although if small Kelloggs breakfast boxes available would make it even better. Room was very dated and need a refurb. Toilet seat was so close to wall you couldn’t sit comfortable. Room was clean as can be but need to decorate."
