4 Star Hotels in Stafford, England

"Really good city centre location. Room was well appointed with Tea, Coffee, water and apple juice. Had read other reviews about the Air con which was so noisy, we turned it off which was fine as it wasn’t a blazing hot day but would be an annoyance if we kept it on. Slight stain marks on carpet and duvets but nothing terrible and the road noise during the night hence the 4*. Breakfast choice was excellent and the lady who was front of house was amazing, couldn’t do enough for us. The kids brekkie was free which was a nice touch, as well as apples / water station in the reception. All great for us for a one night stay. "

"The room was modern, clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of the cathedral, too. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide selection to choose from. We loved the Birmingham-themed art work throughout- a nice touch!"

"It's within Aston University campus if u don't mind being in that setting. The photos are better than real life. The twin room has has natural toiletries & a grey bedspread but essentially is similar to a newish Premier Inn. They have a large restaurant, bar and outdoor area which we didn't use (except for 1 drink)."

"The room was clean and comfortable. However, I was disappointed that a security guard knocked on our door in the middle of the night and accused us of being loud, even though we weren’t making noise."

"Why do we have to suffer the abomination that is check-in on the infernal selfcheck-in system? Every time the thing locks up and needs a human to intervene. Sort it out for heavens sake or bin it !"

"The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms were comfortable. However, when we arrived around 5 PM, we were told that the spa was already closed and would only reopen at 10 AM the next day. We also found it very odd that, despite staying at the hotel, guests still had to pay £15 for just 2 hours of spa access. Overall, while the hotel looked good, the extra charges and limited spa availability made the experience disappointing. In my opinion, it was not worth the money we paid to stay there."
