"The staff were very accommodating, the hotel room was spotless and was cleaned everyday throughout our trip. The location is right on the Old Town strip so very convenient for getting around, would highly recommend."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel location is absolutely perfect in middle of eveything. Rooms was beautiful and clean breakfasts was more continental but beautiful and filled you for the day. All staff members so friendly and helpful. Pool freezing cold but again nice to cool of in for a few seconds. Over all fantastic location, food, staff and for it being right on the strip always felt secure with the key cards to use lifts and enter door. Cant not wait to return x"
"I'm a real estate investor and travel with a healthy budget. For our 23rd anniversary, we chose a resort-style hotel in the Algarve—and it ended up being the highlight of our trip.
The hotel has a sleek, Bond-movie vibe that photos don’t capture. The lobby is stunning, everything is spotless and well-designed, and the staff were friendly and professional.
The pool area is beautiful, with three pools and plenty of comfy loungers. Our room was spacious, fully renovated (since 2023), and incredibly quiet—great for light sleepers like me.
Breakfast was outstanding, especially for gluten-free options—lots of variety, including muffins, breads, almond milk, and an amazing banana bread.
The location is peaceful yet central. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s not an adults-only hotel, but the only kid-related noise came from the pool and added a nice energy.
Some reviews criticize it for not being a "true" five-star, but for the value, it’s exceptional. I’d absolutely recommend it."

"Our stay at this villa was absolutely amazing. Website photos don't even do the place justice, its much better. The villa is emaculate and very comfortable.Our host, Sara, was incredibly hospitable. She drove over 15mins to lead us back to the villa when our sat nav led us astray on our way from the airport. She was promptly responsive to a couple of very minor issues we had at the villa and she had the very swiftly addressed. Sara even recommended us to Ramires restaurant which makes the most delicious chicken the area.We absolutely recommend this villa, which is perfectly situated for holiday makers. Thank you Sara"
"I felt I should write a review after reading lots of bad reviews about this hotel, as I had a very pleasant stay.
The hotel is very basic and doesn't have air conditioning but I knew this before booking. My room didn't get a lot of sun and the temperature was fine. It is clean and there were cleaners working all the time. There are a lot of steps in it but I didn't have a problem with that, there is an elevator.
All the photos the hotel provides are exactly how it is. There is a lovely view from the pool and breakfast area. Breakfast was basic, as expected but enjoyable due to the lovely views. It is in an elevated position above the old town, so I would usually walk to the town, which isn't far and get an uber back, which was €4.
The lady at reception was very pleasant.
Overall, I knew what I had booked before I arrived and I didn't expect five star facilities at a two star hotel. Also I was travelling on my own and felt safe. "
