"Ok I really did like the hotel except for one thing and honestly it’s a big thing for me. The rooms are dark they have that ambient light of desk lamps and little low power bulbs. I hate it I cannot put my make up on yes there’s a mirror at the sink with a light but when the rest of the room is dark big deal it’s just not enough, like imagine going on a night out and having that. If you lose something you’re like where is it I will need to get my phone torch out. Can you not get a big light for the room so I can see very clearly all my belongings. I know some hotels like like but it’s annoying. I need to see please please stick a big light in there and it would be perfect. You can switch off a light what can you do if there is no light. It’s like a cave. "

"On arrival staff at reception were amazing so helpful. Walked into room carpet had an iron burn, the sink in bathroom was slow to drain. The lights on the unit with the tv one was not working and swivelling round.. the socket under the unit was broken and not looking good. The unit had a strip of laminate ripped of the unit. Could hear people talking in next door room. Breakfasts were ok, our first morning the fried eggs were like rubber, sausages over cooked and not appetising to look at or eat.. Our second breakfast we had poached eggs they were lovely and sausages were better but mushrooms were all wrinkled and dry!! Had dinner it was lovely steak & chips very nice, well cooked steak. Staff amazing, so chatty and in hand at all times. Bed was comfortable but pillows were poor quality. Said the bed was a king koil but when I looked at the mattress it was not that make!! Hair dryer was hot to hold after a few minutes. So if it wasn’t that my daughter was staying here as she was giving stem cells at the beatson hospital for her brother my son and they booked it for her I would never have stayed here but I wanted to be in the next room in case she needed me. Disappointed with the hotel. Staff I can’t say enough about them, you should be very proud of them but as for your hotel you need to do a much better job and bring it into the 21st century Not acceptable at all. "

"We needed a vrbo near the airport and this fit the bill! The bedrooms were very spacious and it was so clean. Our host was very responsive and it was so nice to have off-street parking!!"

"We’ve stayed in over 70 online vacation rentals and this place is adequate, but definitely not exceptional. I loved the view of the trees and river, but that was about it. It was clean enough, but it is very lived in (stained and/or saggy).I have some mobility issues (bad knees). The 1 flight of stairs was ok, but the bed was VERY low, making it uncomfortable/difficult to get in and out of. We booked for 3 nights and left after one."
