"Very nice, clean and quiet (after 10-11pm) boutique hotel one street off of Rossio Square in central Lisbon, walking distance to many of the city’s best attractions and restaurants. Just be aware there are stairs up one story to the lobby and a very tight/slow elevator to most rooms. The rooftop lounge and restaurant are great options for drinks and dinner. Nice full buffet breakfast was included in the nightly rate."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Browns central hotel. It was in an excellent location with easy access to major metro stations, and walking distance to multiple neighbours for great restaurants and bars. The hotel was very well maintained and our room (although a little on the small side) was lovely and clean, had cupboards for unpacking and space to store our suitcases out of the way. The bathroom was excellent, a great size with a large and powerful shower. The staff were also very lovely and helpful. We received a welcome cocktail (alcoholic and non alcoholic options were available) and a complimentary bottle of wine. I would absolutely recommend and stay again."

"We stayed three nights at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel after disembarking from our cruise ship. We arrived at the hotel very early in the morning (8:30 AM) and were delighted to find that a room was available for us. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We were very tired the first night so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. I don’t remember what we ate but it was very good quality and our server was wonderful. Breakfast is included and it is excellent as noted by other reviewers. My only complaint is that the restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast until 7:30 so we were only able to enjoy it once during our stay at the hotel. Our room was clean and our bed was excellent. The room was a comfortable temperature with the air conditioning on but I recommend using the upright oscillating fan to improve air circulation. We weren’t able to get many international channels on the TV which appeared to be an Internet streaming platform. Everything in the bathroom worked well. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Lisboa Hotel Carmo!"
