"Clean place to stay. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a cheap option not too far out of the city. Very near to grocery options, which is great! It is also easy to walk in and out of Galway if you are okay with a 30 min walk. Would recommend bringing earplugs if staying on the weekend, as the courtyard was loud in the late night hours with people coming back from pubs. "

"Good for 18 yr olds who want to party … noise 24 hours a day and loud! Forget sleep. Individual dorm rooms with double bed against a wall … tough for 2 people. We booked a 3 bed/3 bath thinking it would be an appt … it was 5 dorm bedrooms - we could access 3 and a common room. No one else with us but as it cost more than a hotel .. far from worth it. Would not recommend unless you’re a young adult looking to stay up. Also no amenities… 2 towels, no hair dryer. "

"This is a great hotel! We've stayed in this area every year and have never stayed here until this year. They were super helpful in changing our room so that we could get air conditioning due to the hot weather. We had a spacious room with a balcony facing the bay. They have a great buffet breakfast (all the fixings for a full Irish breakfast, plus fruit, pastries, cereal, pancakes, etc). Both my mom and I are lactose intolerant so we were appreciative of the milk alternatives and the allergen info on the foods. Lots of parking and so many cute little nooks to sit and read. We almost wished we had one rainy day to take advantage. Would definitely want to stay there again!"
