"The whole experience was exceptional. This is the biggest hotel I've stayed in. The bar was very cosy and the walls are covered in motorsport memorablia which was really cool. Food and drink were top notch. Room was spacious and comfortable and to finish, walking around the grounds, especially as the Silverstone racetrack is nearby was very enjoyable..."

"The welcoming staff were amazing and the place is incredible. The dining area was good but could be better. The menu is limited and the service is not very friendly including the greeting at the entry point. Breakfast was self service and the selection was reasonable, however the replenishment was slow and infrequent. There were quite a few guests walking around looking for cutlery and also waiting for fresh food to come out. Not the best experience for dining but the stay was relaxing and amazing, well worth the money. "

"Modern hotel located suburbs of Oxford. Easy to park a car and has large rooms. While Oxford is driving distance, the restaurant serves nice meals. "

"We stayed at The Randolph for three nights in September 2005. We had breakfast there three times and dinner once. The dinner was excellent and the service was superb and a tribute to the superb staff my wife and I cannot praise the food and service enough. The breakfasts were equally superb with a wide selection of breakfast food at the buffet. The room was excellent in every way and the position of the hotel for visiting the city centre and Colleges was spot on. Richard and Martine 14/09/2025."

"Lovely airy hotel perfect for our onenight stay. Rooms equipped tea/coffee, shower gel etc, iron/board, hair dryer. Bed very comfy good size pillows. Breakfast great, lots of variety . Good coffee's and tea's. Usb point in room didnt work Windows filthy , barely see out of them "

"Big thumbs up for the Village Hotel! 🙌 A huge thank you to Olivia on reception, who went above and beyond to help me during a really stressful situation. The office had booked me in for the wrong day, and to make things worse, the hire van I was driving had a faulty key — with my locked phone still inside! Olivia didn’t hesitate to step in. She used her personal phone to help search for a solution, and thanks to her calm and proactive attitude, we managed to get it sorted. She was absolutely brilliant — a real asset to the Village team! Also want to give a shoutout to the night staff, who were really helpful and friendly too. Thanks again to everyone — you turned a stressful situation into a great customer experience. 👏"

"Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff though out the stay. Room very clean as was the whole hotel. Bar staff made fabulous cocktails. Breakfast extensive choice, also catered for gluten free & alternative milks available Only small issue was the swimming pool changing rooms; there was lots of hair on the floor. Also the pool staff need to pay more attention to the guests behaviours, male guest shaving at the side of the pool then using showers to rinse. Future guests need to be made aware of the restricted use of the pool due to swimming lessons. "

"Swimpool was small and overcrowded when we visited on Sunday afternoon. Great for motorway stop and hotel is dated but massive, so much room. In the room, the lobby, the bar....we loved it. Friendly staff especially at breakfast and regardless of other reviews, lots of choice and great quality. Definitely would visit again especially as it's Desi Bar country. We had dinner at The Hungry Elephant. Top top quality Indian food and enough left to take for next day dinner."
