"Kentchurch Court was an amazing venue for a family holiday for three generations. It catered for the needs of all ages, in our case 7years to 83 years old. The kitchen was modern and was fully equipped with everything one could need for 20 people. the rest of the house kept the character of a stately house built in 1790 and a tower built in the 14th century. All the bedrooms were fantastic and nobody wished they were in a different bedroom. The beds were comfortable and the whole building spacious and beautiful. In this vast area the young children really enjoyed "hide and seek", and "sardines". The tennis court and snooker table were frequently in use. The two lawns provided space for Croquet, and we brought our own equipment for Badminton, Volley ball, Tennikoit, and Rounders. We were fortunate with amazing weather and spent a lot of time out doors. The grounds are amazing and enormous and we went for variety of family walks. Never left the estate except to visit the pub and that by walking. After arrival cars were redundant. The Banqueting Hall was excellent for evening meals and the outside tables and chairs were perfect for lunch in the sunshine. The large sitting room was a perfect place for putting the world to rights. The estate staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, answering all our questions and meeting our needs. The only thing that was missing was card and board games for children. We never needed them as the weather was so good, but others might and could bring their own. In short it was the best family holiday we have ever had for our family of 19. Thank you Kentchurch Court. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely immaculate cottage. Clean, beautifully decorated and furnished and facilities fantastic. A perfect place for a very quiet getaway. It's also a brilliant base for exploring the surrounding area. The cottage is in a very quiet, peaceful village which is perfect for a get away from it all break but you will need to drive for restaurants shops etc. There is one pub and a village store for the basics. There are lovely countryside walks from the cottage. We would definitely recommend and use this cottage again."

"Had a great week with the dogs at Sunnybank even though it was December. We have been a few times now and we always find the house very comfortable. The outside is great for the dogs so they can mooch about or chase their frisbees. The stress of life falls from our shoulders as soon as we arrive. It really is getting away from it all."

"A Hidden GemWe were looking for a nice place to stay over the New year, one that was comfortable, quiet and had character. We chose Hatterrall Barn and we were not disappointed. The house sleeps 4 in two large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom/shower. The quality of the rooms, beds & fittings was fantastic. Downstairs, there is a great kitchen with everything you need adjoining the living room. The wood burner in the corner of the living room was fantastic although, to be honest, the central heating was so good, you may not need it. Through the rear door, you have a stream running past the house with great views of the hills behind the house. The hot tub, big enough for four, was superb: clean & well maintained. You will find the Barn in a farm complex up a lane. There is another (holiday) house nearby but you would not know there were there, the privacy and quiet was exceptional. Sophia was excellent in communicating with us and the arrival basket of goodies was more than generous. In the area, there are many things to venture out and explore: we would recommend Big Pit (the other side of Abergavenny), Llanthony Priory (which has a great pub/bar within the grounds) and Hereford (esp. the Cathedral).Book it, you will not be disappointed!"
