Purdy Lodge

Purdy Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"In a perfect location for our exploration of Northumberland. The room we had was excellent. Although situated on the busy A1 the room was very quiet as it was at the back of the building. We couldn’t hear any traffic noise at all. The staff were absolutely fantastic.Really friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and it was also good to be able to pick up sandwiches and snacks from the attached coffee shop for days when we were out exploring. We will definitely stay here again."

"A lovely hotel with well trained restaurant staff. The food was excellent. Our room was clean and spacious with a very powerful shower over the large bath. The grounds were beautifully kept. A most enjoyable short break."

"The property is being renovated, nearly finished downstairs and very nice. The staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Wi fi is good. Dinner and breakfast is fine and served without a long wait.We would stay again, as it is central and has a nice beer garden, which would be very nice in hot weather. Thank you Dusty and Allan."

"I wasn’t sure the house was right but the post code takes you to the door! The original picture shows a White House but it isn’t white anymore. The room was a single but still I had a full bathroom to myself attached, a fridge and tea coffee stuffs so was very happy. It is so quiet out there but it’s still not far from main towns. Vanessa is a very nice host. I will definitely stay here again 🤗"
