Food was exceptional especially the dinner menu. Breakfast was equally as good but staff were really under pressure coffee machine not working and too few staff but despite this the staff on were really friendly and gave 100%. To start, the staff was super nice and accommodating! So this review has nothing to do with them! Our room was very dirty. I understand that this property is old but they need to do some serious upgrades or at least some very deep cleaning. The USB plug on one side was completely broken, I had to unplug the bedside lamp in order to charge my phone. The bathroom floor was filthy. The girl at the front desk went up and cleaned, but overall it was still dirty. Bathroom sink was stopped up the minute you start running the water. Shower grout was moldy and needed a very good scrub. Everything was dusty and just dingy and dirty. Also, they have 2 elevators and only 1 was working and so slow!

My family & I have just returned from a trip to Belfast and stayed at the beautiful Malmaison in Victoria Street. We wanted a quality hotel in the centre of Belfast - close to the Titanic Experience and a variety of bars/restaurants - and we were not disappointed. The Malmaison certainly lived up to its reputation as a luxurious hotel: beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless bedrooms, delicious food, and professional, friendly, attentive staff. We would certainly stay in the Malmaison again! Thank you.
