This hotel is situated in the University of Birmingham. We love the quiet and clean room. The only dinning option is at the hotel bar or restaurant unless you drive out.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - the multi story cad park across the street was good - although could get a little full at times- but free for hotel users! Very dog friendly, for no extra cost! ( down stairs rooms made the very easy!)

The hotel was a neat surprise tucked away in the University- staff were very helpful and friendly- certainly dog friendly! Room was excellent quiet and well maintained! Free car park ( if used at the right time was very easy! Would suggest going in around 6.00Pm when university empties!) ideal spot for a stay in Birmingham ( with a car and a dog!) great facilities too!

Lovely hotel. Breakfast times too early finish. Times advertised until 9,30 but if you come in at 9.30 they are clearing up and there is no food

Hotel is great. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Staff friendly. Location for uni is amazing, and easy train trip into city centre. Parking can be a little chaotic, but not had a problem getting a spot. Only thing is that as an event venue it’s a little bland, especially the bar area. But other than that, highly recommend and I will definitely stay again.

The vip discount is only for the day that you reach not for once during the stay . So if you reach at night it’s pointless . Late checkout was also only unti 11am . Other than that it’s a nice decent hotel , just dont expect the vip perks

A beautiful hotel let down by some management
Absolutely appalling service levels from members of night duty management who have no empathy. Jodie is definitely a member of the night team to avoid, extremely rude, arrogant and dismissive. You will be left scathing after your conversations with her.

Beware - Expedia confirmation shows 11am for check out. Hotel insists that it’s 10am, but didn’t tell us that or that the water to the entire property would be shut off at 10am. Couldn’t shower, wash or even brush teeth before being asked to leave the room. Staff terrible, offered no help and told me that I should have known the check out time - they wanted to charge me for a bottle of water to at least be able to brush our teeth. A total disgrace!

Good service
Very good service from the staff mainly from Roberta in the restaurant and Mairon. They are both very friendly and professional. The conference rooms and the facilities are very good and comfortable. I stayed for a 3 day course for which each day was 14 hours long and this was achievable because of the good standard. Hotel rooms are nice. The TV channels weren’t very clear but didn’t watch it much due to being so tired from the long days.

Lovely and clean hotel, rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast is good with something for everyone. Only drawback its busy and with people from conferences, so very little parking available and breakfast is busy and the corridors and lounge area busy and noisy. Parties during the weekend that is hosted there with very drunk people being sick in the lifts.

Perfect building, comfortable rooms, beautiful campus and university. Breakfast open 2 hours and food is not great. Bar is thriving and service is poor, as are most places post covid. Front desk staff very nice yet check in and payment old school takes time. Perfect for a stay at the Uni.
