"Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. "Nice bed and mattress, large room with nice furniture, and the included breakfast had a nice selection and was pretty tasty. Staff sorted early check in to let me change for a wedding, no issues. Free parking."

"The hotel is ok, we had a twin room in the cottage lodge, no 526, it was quite a walk from reception. Most of the staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel is looking somewhat dated, the room needed a good deep clean, shower head and bath mat needed replacing, I did write this to the manger in the initial check in review, as we were only staying 1 night it wasn’t worth complaining about. The car park needs re signing as cars didn’t know which way to go round!"
