"Nice location - not far from Hammersmith bus and tube stations. Pleasant but not overly talkative staff. Hotel was nice and quiet. Room was clean but the clothes storage was near to falling over, plug socket and light fittings damaged and potentially dangerous, metal bed frame broken and very noisy. The room would have benefitted from having blackout curtains as the morning light flooded in at around 6am."

"I have stayed at the Strand Palace many times & it never disappoints. It is a very comfortable & well appointed hotel right in the centre of Theatreland. The staff are always friendly, helpful, approachable & knowledgeable. The rooms are comfortable, especially the beds. I like that there is air con/ heating which is controllable within the room. Breakfasts are wonderful, what a choice! Everything you could want & much, much more. Great choice of food & drinks available in the restaurant at all times of the day or night. I look forward to returning time & time again."

"I did the single room, it was perfect for a solo traveler,& maybe a couple who doesnt mind sharing space. It was just enough & had everything I needed. The lobby seemed to have AC & the Garden bar was very nice. Great area also! Walking distance of many attractions/tourist areas"

"I travelled with my 15 year-old son who is mad about planes and wants to be a pilot. I asked if they could give us a room overlooking the runway at Heathrow which the receptionist kindly did. We had a great stay here and would like to do it again in the future."

"The staff is the highlight of this property. They are courteous, pleasant, personable, and responsive to the needs of the guests. The property was well kept and the location was fantastic. The view we booked was exactly as advertised / view of the Thames with Parliament and Big Ben. Breakfast was wonderful; with lots of options for everyone. Excellent stay and central to our itinerary."

"The RIU is a fantastic choice if you are visiting the London Victoria. You can literally see Victoria station when you walk out the front door. Easy walking distance to Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Westiminster Abbey, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square. The hotel is clean, modern and features an in-suite bathroom, ac, a hairdryer and coffee. Ice is available from the bar on the first floor. The breakfast buffet, located right across the street, is vast, featuring hot and cold choices, a toasting station with a ton of bread choices, a fruit bar, cereal bar, juices and coffee. You also have plenty of shopping and dining options around. Also, having access to Victoria station is very convenient. Not only to and from Heathrow, but we took a train to the Crystal Palace Bowl to see Lenny Kravitz on Sat night and then took a train to Brighton Bch the on Sunday. Bright Bch is a must visit in our opinion. Only an hour each way and 70 pounds round trip for both of us. 10 minute walk right through the middle of town and you're at the beach. Lastly, the area is wicked clean and the people are very nice and helpful. We felt safe every where went, even late night. If you are visiting London for the first time like us, you can't go wrong with London Victoria and the Riu."
