"This was our third visit to the Fisherman's Cot and the first time for an overnight stay. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices and very good breakfast. Staff were friendly and polite. We stayed in an annex which was OK but the outside fabric of the building is in need of renovation. Room was fine and clean, although bath panel was heavily water damaged. There is scope to improve decor (pictures on the wall for example) to give a more homely feel"

"Clean and comfortable historic inn with fabulous staff and tasty food. I will definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Thank you!"

"Staff were very helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy. Great breakfast 🙂🙂"

"Helpful staff and impressive view."

"Rustic setting but not remote, excellent food, lovely staff,"

"Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!"

"Lovely big clean room . Very noisy in the am though with people slamming doors ( there was a coach party staying) ."

"A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch."

"I had a lovely stay and nothing was too much bother for Sue. Lots of choice for breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Even had a scarecrow trail whilst I was there with an amazing entry at the guesthouse."

"Had a great stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again."

"Ideally located for a few days in Exeter."

"Great little bed & breakfast"

"Convenient location in Exeter for access in and out of the city. Friendly staff at check in. Decent buffet breakfast but can get congested at peak times. Parking available but expensive in Exeter. You get a discount voucher which helps a lot. Have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so."

"Very helpful staff and well appointed room."

"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"This is an excellent family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Tavistock. The room was spacious and even though the room was facing the road, I could not hear any traffic. The location was excellent and I loved the character of the road and houses. I would visit again."

"For the price can't complain as you also get free parking. The room was clean and tidy with clear instructions as to how to access the room key. The restaurant is dog friendly also and food delicious. Just bear in mind it can be noisy in the room until the restaurant closes but not a massive issue."

"Really nice hotel in a great central location. Staff were helpful and attentive, room was small but amenable"

"Lovely hotel in the heart of Exeter"

"Spacious with a substantial bar and dining room, centrally located, opposite Exeter Central station with train, bus and taxi connections to Exeter St David's."
