"The room was clean, as was the bathroom. However, this is not a luxury or relaxing hotel if you are looking for a place to unwind after hours of walking in the heat, as I was. The photos on the website make it look much better than it actually is. This was my first time in Porto, and I didn't know how far one part of the city would be from the other, so I stayed in the old part. It turned out that the city is quite small, so next time I would choose a newer hotel with more amenities, as the city is overall easy to walk around."

"Beautiful hotel, staff incredibly helpful. The spa is the most serene spa I’ve ever been to and the rooftop bar views are some of the best in the city. Only minor downside is if you’re vegan there aren’t any substantial food options in either restaurant"

"Wonderful staff. Gave us a couple desert surprises in our room after day of sightseeing. Bartender opened a bottle of wine we bought after our Douro tour and placed it in an ice bucket for us to enjoy that evening. Nice friendly touches."
