"The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast didn't change much each day but what was available was cooked well. The property is in need of attention as it looks tired and grubby in places. The location is reasonably good for exploring San Francisco. It was helpful being able to securely store our luggage until our flight which was long after check-out. A deposit is taken (despite no mini-bar etc.) and had to be chased to be released."

"The unit was very clean and comfortable and had a wonderful view of Outer Sunset and the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked although I didn't cook anything. I appreciated the instant coffee available. The tv didn't work despite trying repeatedly. The bed was comfy--could use an improvement in the bed pillows. Thank you for the detailed directions for keys and entering the unit. "

"I was lost and could not find the unit. The host does not answer messages in a timely manner. If a person is simply looking for a bed, then this place is fine. It is spartan. No chairs or couches to sit on. A bed, a table and 4 chairs in the kitchenette, and a small 2 seater outdoor settee. Also no coffee or tea is provided. "

"Great spot, Ed at the front desk was flexible, helpful, and personable—and allowed us to both check in early and check out late. There's an elevator, which we didn't expect (but appreciated). Fun neighborhood, less than 10 mins to the gorgeous views at Dolores Park, multiple excellent espressos and coffee within 10 mins, brunch at the Wooden Spoon down the street was fantastic. Basic amenities but really cute retro spot. Highly recommend."
