"We spent a week at this Villa in October 2019. From the moment of booking the owner was quick to reply to any messages or queries, this continued through out our stay. The villa was beautifully presented and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. A lovely bonus was the basic toiletries and cleaning essentials, that were provided, even though you are just a few minutes walk from ‘Grand Sur’ shopping complex with a large supermarket. "Nice house , enough space for 6 ppl. Very quiet area . Nice to have dishwasher. 5min walk from the rocky beach. The closest sandy beach around 20 min walk . We didn't use jakuzzi as the water inside was dirty. Loads of places to walk around and enjoy beautiful ocean view ."

We had a couple of issues that were mainly out of the hosts control, but I can't fault the speed at which he addressed and rectified our concerns. "The Villa Iris is very nice inside, having two good sized bedrooms and one small bedroom, with plenty of wardrobe space. There is air conditioning in the en-suite (which was really needed due to the extreme heat we encountered during our stay in June/July). "We arrived to find flies in the kitchen, on the second day found a bag of rotten potatoes, literally oozing out of a cupboard. The management company, HOMEFORGUEST denied there was an issue, refused to take responsibility for over a week, we had to clean it ourselves. They said our contract is with VRBO not them! Terrible service and we were told to review VRBO as we weren’t their customer. After 8 days chasing them with only arguments back they said they’d clean the kitchen and give us fresh...

"We had a great time in this holiday apartment. The space is just enough for a family of four. The communication and the hospitality with the responsible persons was perfect. We highly appreciated the flexibility with check- in/- out times. The location is very nice with the kids being happy as the pool was just outside the door. To pay extra for sunbeds is a small minus. "Firstly it’s a long way from anywhere. Secondly you need to be pretty fit to access the property. Thirdly there are no shops or restaurants in Carrizales and it’s a drive on very winding to get anywhere. That said the property itself is excellent as is the property manager"

"The villa is wonderful, the pool was lovely and the location was idyllic for a relaxing holiday. The villa would be perfect with a bit of investment to 'spruce it up a bit' but, apart from that, it is still a fantastic base for a holiday. Parent, the owner, and Catherine, the local representative, were perfect hosts and very accommodating when I requested a slight change in dates due to the availability of flights. Highly recommended."
