Apartamentos Puerto Colon Club

"We had a two bedroom apartment, very spacious, two balconies, upper one with sunbeds, kitchen has plenty of utensils and crockery and a good sized fridge freezer, ceiling fan in the living room and wall mounted fans in bedrooms ( these were quite noisy) it was very hot when we went and could of done with air con, you can rent this, not sure how much. We did rent the safe Apartment was very clean, furniture basic but beds were comfortable, toilet downstairs and shower and toilet upstairs, cleaner came in everyday and emptied bins, towels changed every other day, bedding changed after 4 days. Location is great overlooking harbour but can be noisy in the day. This wouldn’t be suitable for someone with walking difficulties as lots of steps and no lift. Property is advertised as having an oven and they have been removed from the apartments, this needs to be updated as if you are planning to do self catering and cook, there’s only so much you can do without an oven, this was our only complaint"

"We have just returned from a fantastic week at Dreams Jardín Tropical and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, lush gardens, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic. The location is perfect, close enough to the marina, shops, and restaurants, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We stayed as Preferred Club guests, which added an extra touch of luxury to the experience. The exclusive lounge, dedicated areas, and enhanced service made our stay feel even more special. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout the week. The food exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive resort. There was a great variety of high-quality options at every meal, and we enjoyed every restaurant we tried. Breakfast overlooking the ocean was a particular highlight. The drinks selection was also excellent, with premium options available and attentive service throughout the resort. The pool areas are beautiful, especially the iconic lagoon-style pool overlooking the sea. There were always plenty of comfortable sunbeds available, and the atmosphere was relaxed without ever feeling crowded. What really made the holiday stand out was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a wonderful stay."

"I usually stay in 5 Star Hotels but felt like a change. The apartment was roomy, clean, quiet, with 180 degree views from very large terrace (2 x sunlounger beds, 2 x relaxing whicker chairs, small side table, dining table, 4 x chairs with parasol, clothes dryer). I entertained my friend 3 times on the balcony; we had great lunch and dinners (with stunning sunsets to watch - balcony was South West facing - superb!) My friend had the apartment next door so that added fun to our holiday (chatting over the wall): we ate in the restaurant twice; both meals were freshly cooked, perfectly (I likened the fillet of fish, style & quality of al-dente veg to that of a 5 star hotel); we were surprised. The kitchen was open plan, very roomy (lounge area to one side) very well stocked with everything you need for basic food preparation; we stocked our fridges with fruit, yogurts, drinks and snacks only. It was great to have a freezer for our ice cubes and for chilling quickly any bottles of wine, etc. The little supermarket downstairs served hot freshly cooked rolls (bread) daily along with hot Danish pastries, croissants, etc, very nice indeed! All staff members were very friendly. Downside: complex is situated at the top of a very steep hill - 8th floor is high up (4 x lifts and/or several hundred steps to reach room). Good for my exercise! Pool was small! Overall: cost of a week's stay was superb value, especially when compared against 5 star hotel stays."

"Location, location, location… The Cleopatra Palace beachfront when you come up the steps to the exit and the beautiful sea views.. Met by staff at check in - champagne offered, room ready 2 hours early, escorted to our room. Very classy. Pool area is awesome, breakfast excellent, rooms a little dated but a wonderful stay. Highly Recommend 👏👏"
