"What a great cottage couldn't have been in a better location, three nice sized bed rooms the kitchen had everything we needed and a lovely living room with a log burner in it.the accommodation was modern well presented and clean to a good standard. When we arrived there was tea coffee milk biscuits and a bottle of wine all in all we had an excellent stay and would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully we will be returning"
LilyRose Hotel
8/10 Good
"Parking is an issue we parked at the back of the hotel for a couple of hours until check in with a disability badge and got a ticket we wasn’t the only guests who did this as there were no yellow lines, the room wasn’t as big as expected but it was very nice, Wendy was really helpful."
Whitby Bridge Luxury Apartments
8/10 Good
"I stayed in the Penthouse Apartment for a one night stay to meet up with friends. The apartment is well-laid out - perfect for a single-traveller or a couple. The location is right in the heart of the historic town centre, so all the recommended sights of Whitby are within walking distance to you. The train station is a 5-10 minute walk away across the swing bridge, so it's an ideal location if you're travelling via that method. The chatter from the pub on the corner across from the apartments can reach up to the penthouse, particularly after closing time. I stayed on a Saturday night in August with decent weather, so the town was busy that night and I would imagine that it would be a lot quieter during the week or out-of-season. Overall though, it wasn't too bad and I still managed to get to sleep - the bed was comfortable too, which helped! I would definitely recommend staying here. The check-in & out process is straightforward, with detailed communication from the proprietors. The apartment is smart & modern, with a decent sized shower and kitchen facilities if you wanted to eat in. I would look to stay here again."
Station Inn
8/10 Good
"Room 3 on the top floor, great view of the harbour. Pub with rooms but it was quiet and not disturbed by any noise downstairs. Very clean and seems to have been newly refitted or at the very least. Very well maintained. Big bathroom and finished to high spec. Would stay again."
The Shepherd's Purse
10/10 Excellent
"We had the wole top floor which was great for the space and it had a nice homely feel to it with its little querks nice bathing area in the midle area of the appartment if you look on line you will see what i mean, you could av a couple of kids in the the other section specialy with it being at the other end of the room. Sloping ceiling so if you are tall u might bang your head, also there are stairs to clime 2 sets but worth it court yard area is very relaxing nice sit down with a cupa Asked it we wanted anything food drink wise very accomindating this was the regata wk end just gone smack in the center of things can recomend we will be booking again Annette /Paul"
Demeter Holiday Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely cottage. Would definitely stay again. Clean, comfortable and in a good location. Access is via steep steps, which are a little challenging with heavy bags."
Host & Stay | Voyagers' View
10/10 Excellent
"Great property in great location, lots of lovely touches inside, very comfortable. Garden was one of my main reasons for booking and certainly wasn’t disappointed with it. A fair amount of steps up to the property with the bags but it’s Whitby, there are bound to be a few steps, maybe consider this if you have mobility issues but we (60 ish) would definitely book this house again, wouldn’t even think of a different place. 10/10."
