Top Whitby Museum Hotel Reviews
The Beaches Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Small clean room with Abbey view. Breakfast was great."
Argyle House
10/10 Excellent
"Although we didn't have the pleasure of meeting the owner the instructions and communication was perfect, the room.was clean and very well presented the gothic look was great and perfect vibe for pirate weekend that we didn't know about but was so much fun, the B&B is just a short down hill walk to the town perfect really"
Royal Whitby
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in an updated family room. Very nicely presented, clean and well stocked with teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Beautiful high ceiling and perfect room for our son to sleep in. Bunk beds were sturdy...always a worry when travelling with a large teenager! Bedding fresh and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and out did some of the more well known hotel brands, so much choice and all fresh. The views are brilliant and there is a lot of spaces in the hotel, games room, cafe, bar and restaurant. Little seating areas to take a drink into and relax. We found the walk to our room a bit far, with lots of steps as one of us has mobility issues but we managed. Already looking to return next year!"
LilyRose Hotel
8/10 Good
"Parking is an issue we parked at the back of the hotel for a couple of hours until check in with a disability badge and got a ticket we wasn’t the only guests who did this as there were no yellow lines, the room wasn’t as big as expected but it was very nice, Wendy was really helpful."
Saxonville Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean room and excellent breakfast"
Thistlebank Townhouse
10/10 Excellent
"The property is located in an excellent position just a few minutes walk from the town and harbour. Parking available at the property. Property was very well maintained with modern fittings and very clean in all areas. The rooms are large and well presented with tea and coffee making facilities. Nathan was an excellent host. The only downside to my five night stay was that I booked a room with a city view however my room only had skylights and I would have needed a stepladder to see the city view! The room was also a little on the darkside due to having only small skylights. Although fridges were available to use in a separate facilities room, a fridge in the room would have been better. Had no Internet service during my stay but Nathan explained that a new system had just been installed and it was not working properly and was waiting for it to be sorted. TV channels were also limited. Would I stay at the Thistle Bank again... YES for sure. Thank you Nathan."
Broomfield House
10/10 Excellent
"Loved my stay here it was immaculate from opening the front door my room had everything I needed plenty of tea n coffee more than enough. Having a fridge in the room was a great idea, the bedding was crisp white and so comfy wish I'd asked were the quilt was from I would love to buy the same one, thanks Broomfield for a fab stay."
Station Inn
8/10 Good
"Room 3 on the top floor, great view of the harbour. Pub with rooms but it was quiet and not disturbed by any noise downstairs. Very clean and seems to have been newly refitted or at the very least. Very well maintained. Big bathroom and finished to high spec. Would stay again."
Manor View Guest House
