"My room was small but perfect for one person. Decorated nicely and very clean. My only issue was on the second night it sounded like someone was stomping overhead all night. Otherwise a perfect stay. I would stay there again. "

"The Briarwood Inn has a cozy stay in store for you! I stayed in room 44 on the second floor. I enjoyed the spacious room with a love seat, club chair, and a wall fireplace which made this room warm and cozy. The sheets and pillows on the kingsize bed were comfortable and ensured my good night's sleep. The large bathroom vanity and shower are bright and make me feel right at home. The Briarwood Inn's location just two blocks from Ocean Avenue made it a comfortable choice for getting outside for a morning walk. Thank you!"

"Older “Inn” but clean and had “old world charm”. Well located so we could park and walk all over Carmel. Everything was clean and front desk people were friendly and helpful. Flowers were beautiful in their courtyard!"

"The Place is really beautiful! we are definitely coming back again, the only down experience was the staff who assisted us was a little mean. I had to work so we aren't able to arrived till almost 10 pm. We received to calls from this person and we let him know that we apologize for any inconvenience of our late check in. but this person is obviously upset and did not give us any smile or welcoming mood when we arrived. it was my husband and I Wedding anniversary and we just escaped for a night. So that kinda ruin the mood. the employee in the morning is very polite that is why I still put at least 3 star on that. all in all the place is nice and clean."
