"With an 8.4 review I expected a clean shower. Mine was dingy and my friend's actually hurt. They needed to change the shower head. And there was a strange smell in both of our rooms. We had two people check us in. One was extremely friendly and lovely, the other was rude, and abrasive. It was a strange experience to say the least and we will not be going back. "

"Very nice place, i think was recently renovated. Shower had good water pressure. Was very clean upon check in. Check in is all online and when room is ready Rm # and door code was texted to me. Really didn't go to office except to get parking pass. Easy walking distance to fishermans warf and to shops and resturants on Cannery Row, and the Aqurium. I would stay here again if available on my next trip to Monterey."

"We had a great stay celebrating my birthday and enjoyed the Vista Blue Spa! Our room was very clean and we liked our partial ocean view. The location is ideal as it’s along the waterfront but a quick walk to shop or dine on Cannery Row. We’ll definitely be back again, "

"We stayed here one night with our kids and everything was amazing! The staff were courteous and helpful, the grounds are huge, and the rooms/suites are large and perfect for a family! The free continental breakfast surprisingly had hot breakfast burritos and sausage. There was some visible wear and tear throughout the grounds, but that’s to be expected. "

"It's an old facility in need of renovation. The windows are very thin and the traffic outside is loud. The staff is professional and the logistics were smooth. The breakfast is mediocre at best."
