"Ok first and foremost this is a 2.5 star motel. If you understand that there's no breakfast buffet, minimum amenities, no sauna or on site bar then you will be comfortable here. We stayed five days no problems at all. The staff is friendly and courteous, the bed is fine (I always bring my own pillow cause all hotel pillows never work), the water is hot and you can walk to many food choices. This is a wonderful place for the 4S', if you know you know. Parking is easy as long as you can follow direction. You are here to visit Monterey, not stay in your room all day. Shower, sleep, shave and you know, that's why you should stay here it checks the boxes. This is our go-to from now on, thanks for a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our short stay. The central location was our favorite aspect—it’s a short walk to Alvarado Street, which has lots of restaurants and shops, and our favorite, the video game parlor/museum, High Score. The hotel is a large, renovated motel, with smaller but comfy rooms and very comfortable beds. Parking is easy. We’d definitely come back."
