"Nice location for both business events and of a weekend it was nice and quiet too. Did find it strange though that a hotel aimed at business events and conferences there was no USB points in either the social areas or the bedrooms."

"I have stayed at this hotel numerous times mainly because it is one of the only places to have free parking on site. There is a lovely pub/bar at the front of the hotel and restaurant at the back. The food is always good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the hotel is starting to look tired and grubby. In particular all skirting boards are dusty and chipped. All doors need scrubbing and painting. It’s the details that matter and a full deep clean and repaint would really benefit this cute hotel. "

"The room was a bit tatty, needs updating and decorating, carpet was stained but clean, large comfortable bed and fridge in room, which was useful. The staff were very helpful, showing me to my room and completing the parking online form to register my car for the carpark. Its a pity the new owners no longer allow dogs in the hotel. I would return if they reviewed their policy."

"Unfortunately I didn't realise there would be so many dogs there, more so with owners that we're inconsiderate. We had a dog wailing and barking from 7pm - 8pm, more of an annoyance than anything, but the same dog was then wailing from 7am - 7.45am on Sunday morning, which was completely inconsiderate, I didn't need to be up at 7am. The hotel itself was nice enough but ruined by some of the guests"

"The hotel looks as if it was built in the 1970s/80s and the bathroom looked a little tired BUT the room was clean with a large bed with spotless bed linen and towels. Close to a main road - didn't bother me. I closed the window and slept well. Heating/air con worked well. The bar was closed - they looked like they were running the hotel with only 4 staff BUT the staff attention, cheerfulness and willingness to help was exemplary. Free parking - and plenty of it was much appreciated. Close to the National Agric. Centre. Very good value. Not the most luxe hotel in the world but because of its location, free parking and the sheer welcome of the staff I would happily stay there again."

"rooms were not cleaned even after i complain to the staff at reception who said that they would get the rooms cleaned that was on friday 20/02/2026 then on the saturday 21/02/2026 we got back from working at race/retro show to find that the rooms still had not been clean i asked staff again and they said that when we get back from going out that the rooms will be clean we got back and the rooms hod been cleaned and the bed sheet had been changed but in one of the rooms the piilow cases was stain with blood on sunday morning when leaveing i complained to the staff name wad abdul and he said that he would get someone to call me still no contact till now 05/03/2026 i also contacted head office and got told that someone will contact me and was given a reference number from holiday inn head office which was 10587497803 which i find totaly disgusting "
