"The room was spacious and very comfortable bed. Liked the amenities in the room. The spa was lovely really enjoyed the oil, sauna and steamroom. The food was good especially breakfast and enjoyed dinner. Great location very best time centre and Killarney races. "

"I do not usually write reviews of my stays at hotels but in this case I spent a fair amount of money for the room and property and I expected a better result. My dates for the hotel 11-15 May, 2026. I stayed in room #115 with my wife. The hotel and room were beautiful, but missing some amenities you would expect in a high end property. The room had an excellent desk but there was not a chair in the room that fit the desk. There were 2 very large arm chairs in the room that did not fit the desk. The room had a TV with several channels but did not have Netflix or any other streaming apps. Another room amenity missing - sheer curtains. The cost of the room was fair, but for that price I did not expect the hotel to charge an extra fee to utilize the in room safe. Also missing in the room a mini fridge. The high end quality of the property and price point for the guest rooms gives the patron high expectations. The Plaza did not meet those expectations with me."

"We loved the Killarney avenue hotel!!! In the heart of town and we even drove in and didn’t have issues parking in the surface lot but there was an underground car park as well. Staff were friendly and available and were helpful and prepared us in advance. Beds and rooms were comfy, AC available and great location to get around town or around Kerry which we took advantage of. "

"We wanted to spend sometime in the area around Kilarney and the town itself. Our hotel was perfectly situated for that. Situated a few kilometers outside the city; probably about 5 mins worth of a drive to the public parking in Killarney. Ross castle (very nice cafe actually), nice boat ride in the lake, visit to the Muckross Victorian mansion, ladies view, the Torc falls, the Gap of Dunloe the drive from one spot to the next... All beautiful in their own way and worthwhile the visit. One should probably allocate 3-4 days to go through all that without rushing it. We've found that you need to take your time to actually take in the natural beauty of some of these places."
