"Shawn, the owner, was super nice! Due to poor planning and inexperienced driving (first time drove on the left side of the road), we arrived quite late but didn’t notify the hotel earlier. Shawn waited up for us. Super easy to check in and he gave suggestions for the next day’s activities. Thank ..."

"Friendly, helpful staff; lovely rooms; excellent pool and hot tub area; very fine breakfast. Would recommend this hotel easily. Shout out to Dora Browne for her management of dinIng room and warm manner"
"Have stayed at this property several times. Always enjoy our stay. Property is clean and well looked after. Only down side is that it is undergoing major renovations to modernize several of the features, and unfortunately our room on the 2nd floor was directly under the common area of the 3rd floor and the noise of people walking through to their rooms can get quite loud, but the rooms were wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. We only ate breakfasts there, but they were wonderful, although covid restrictions have required a bit of a down-sizing of access to some things we took for granted in the past, but that's to be expected. We're glad to see that Maura is still there. She's a lovely person and looks after your every need. We could have spent hours just chatting with her. The on-site parking is an added bonus feature, and you are a short hop to all the wonders to explore in Killarney. Would highly recommend this lovely boutique property for anyone passing through Killarney. While it's not in the heart of Killarney city, you won't have to deal with the bustle of city traffic and the noise of late night revelers/parties in the streets. One word of advice - if Google maps sends you down Mill Rd or Loretto Rd. to get there, DON'T TAKE IT. Go a longer route. Those one lane roads are a nightmare to drive and not worth the 10-15 minutes it will save you."
"The Killarney Avenue Hotel is right in the center of town and within walking distance to everything. Our room faced the front square and was beautiful. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and the pub on the main floor was great. Would definitely go back. "
