"I don’t know what is the issue with some of the reviews here, I would understand it if I had booked a 5-star hotel and ended up here! Quality for Money is 5-star that is for sure. Highlight? Cleanliness! Especially the staff, cleaning personnel are nice and efficient. Yes, rooms smell humidity after a day out but you can live with that. Parking is cheap (20$) considering the area you are in and the ease of parking literally at your room steps. Bunz offers a great dining option but you can walk to Fashion Valley for more options. Safety is felt. A great option for a long stay with family. Will come back for sure. "

"Everything was great except for the parking garage spaces were super tight as well as going up and down in the parking garage really tight corners if you have a large SUV or truck it’s gonna be extremely hard turning those corners or even parking in the parking garage. "

"I enjoyed my stay @ California Suites on Clairemont Mesa Blvd…It’s an older hotel w/a lot of character & city charm with a great staff & accommodations. Central location to get around the city. The cost is very competitive and a great value w/free parking and on site 24 Hr security making the rounds. Highly recommended - you won’t find anything else like it - overall stay was very easy and comfortable. Thanks!"
