"Everything was great during our stay. The attention is very personalized, they all address you by your name/last name with a smile. So the interaction with the staff was excellent, the breakfast buffet delicious and with great variety.Our room was always clean and on time.Very impressed by Sonesta Hotel Cusco, also the location was very convenient, a couple of blocks from Koricancha and a ten, 15 minutos walk to the main square. Cusco is truly a magical city and staying at Sonesta was a great experience. We will return for sure."

"Facilities were great but service was fantastic. Staff was incredibly accommodating. They let us check in several hours early and provided us breakfast out first day in Cusco. We left the hotel between 4-6am everyday and made sure to have a breakfast to go ready when we left. Was initially concerned about the location (about 35min walk from the town square) but Ubers were easy to get only 7PEN (about 3 CAD). Highly recommend, true hospitality. "

"The clearest thing I can say about the staff at this hotel is that they have it down. I arrived early, they handled the paperwork, grabbed my bags and sent me on my way with a promise to notify me if my room was available early. I returned to find my baggage in my room and a well thought out welcome gift waiting for me. Not just your usual candy but useful items we often forget, nail clippers, a comb, eye shades, toothbrush. The room is spacious and well laid out, the separate sitting area provides a nice change from fighting with my husband over who gets the single chair! There were even a couple of books available to make things homey I went into the courtyard to find an adorable little alpaca named Kiki who was roaming about looking for pets. Pretty awesome! I found out they had actually cooking and bartending class available. I learned to Make cerveche from the talented and forgiving chef, Frank, who only winced a little at my knive work. Juan translated for all of us and kept things flowing as the host . Shakira gave us a lesson in bartending by having us make a piso sour. She added a perfect touch with real flowers to decorate the drinks. Did I mention that there was no charge for these activities? On my final day, while chatting with the staff during breakfast that this trip was to celebrate our 40th anniversary they offered us mimosas. Later they brought up a nicely decorated "happy aniversary plate to our room. "

"Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. They arranged for our transportation. We arrived in the middle of the night and the staff was attentive, helpful and responsive to us as of it were the middle of the day. They even offered and provided bag meals for our early departure to Machu Picchu. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. "

"We were very happy with our stay here. We stayed 2 separate nights here. There was an initial confusion with the booking. It was hotels.com or Expedia fault. They didn’t send them that we would be 3 people even though we had specified it in our reservation. Hotels.com customer service was horrible and useless but Tierra Viva staff was very nice about it and didn’t charge us anything extra. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We were on the upper floors on both occasions. The staff helped carry our luggage to the rooms and also bring them down at checkout. We left 2 pieces of luggage during our first stay. When we returned they had put the luggage in our room already. Location of the hotel is very central and close to the main square. Area was lively and felt very safe. Breakfast had good selection and the staff helped us get some hot milk for our son. Overall apply with our stay and would be glad to come back. "

"This is a guest house- meaning owned by a single family, whom you will meet (the two sons and their cat were our "welcome committee." The area is not in the tourist zone, but it is quite safe. There is a shop across the street to buy water, soda, snacks, and Ronaldo provides an excellent breakfast. The beds are new and great, and the blankets thick and warm. The wifi works great in the common area, we would recomend a repeater or moving the router higher in the building to better reach the rooms. The room was spotless and well cleaned. Ronaldo also is great at communicating on the expedia chat and provides free transportation to and from the airport (10 minute drive)."
