"Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). "

"We loved our stay here, the large private pool, beautiful grounds and the views across the valley from both the garden and our bedroom terraces make this large, immaculately maintained country house really special. The setting is remote and tranquil but Marsciano is only a short drive and has a number of good shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Gaetano speaks excellent English and was always on hand to help with recommendations and bookings as well as making sure we had directions to find the villa after we landed at Rome. We really enjoyed getting to know owners Gaetano and Clara, who built the house and who live in the smaller house in the grounds. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another week. Highly recommended. "
