Top Church of St Mary and St Eanswythe Hotel Reviews
The Southcliff Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean room .very nice and friendly staff"
The Courtyard, Folkestone
10/10 Excellent
"The house was perfect and exactly what we needed. We got to check in early which was great. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you"
Grand Burstin Hotel Folkestone
8/10 Good
"Pros: The room was very clean and had all the bits and bobs you need ( hair dryer, fan, iron, tea making stuff, tv and a fridge). The hotel also provided a travel cot for our baby. The room had a great sea view. The hotel it self is interesting, a bit run down and rough round the edges. There was live entertainment in the “ballroom” every night, which was cringy in an amusing way. The location is excellent. The room price was very reasonable (mid week). It is a budget hotel not a luxury one. Negatives: the front desk is very understaffed, we wanted to extend our stay and had to queue at reception, only to then be told we had to book via a phone attached to the wall. When we used the phone we were quoted £10 more than hotels.com. We then had to queue for another 20mins to get new key cards. There was only 1 receptionist for a hotel with hundreds of rooms. The pool was pleasant enough but you have to pay £4 each every single time you use it (even as a paying guest at the hotel). I think that’s a bit cheeky and I’ve never experienced that in a hotel before. They could at least add a single charge to your room for a pool pass instead. We didn’t have breakfast as I thought it was a little over priced. Over all we enjoyed staying there and will definitely be returning."
The View Hotel Folkestone, a member of Radisson Individuals
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great stay, beautiful room, friendly staff and great food and drink."
Burlington Hotel, Best Western Premier Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Burlington for only one night but had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant and had a lovely dinner. The location worked out well for our remaining plans although we wish we'd had time to explore the town."
The View at Shoreline - a holiday let by Bloom Stays that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"The View at Shoreline is an abselutely luxurious holiday experience. Beautiful location on the beach with the most gorgous view. The house has a modern interior and really lovely decorated. Well equipped with all facilities. We needed some days to relax, and this place was perfect for a calm and slowpaced holiday break. Several beautiful places for walking. The bars and restaurants at the harbour is close and really nice. We can really recommend this place and would love to come back! We came all the way from Norway to visit, we now have about 100 pictures of this stunning place by the sea :)"
Eco Aparthotel - Grande Studio 7
10/10 Excellent
"In a great central location, plenty shops, places to eat, pubs all around and very quick walk to the coast which was beautiful, didn’t realise Folkestone was so nice! Outside building looked very nice, access lobby area clean and inviting. Great shower! (good water pressure!)Apartment was compact but had everything needed. Was a hot weekend so needed to open the windows overnight, could hear people enjoying themselves which wasn’t a problem for us. Some parts of the apartment were tired but that’s expected in an old building that’s rented out. I’d definitely use this 2 bedroom apartment again. Thanks for a really nice stay "
The Bay, Folkestone Kent
8/10 Good
"The Bay is a conveniently located flat, a short walk from buses and shops. We travelled by train and it's a relatively easy walk to the property. From there it's a similar walk, but with some steep bits, to the harbour which is a spectacularly good restoration of the old harbour station and where there's plenty of choice for food and drink. There's plenty to see in Folkestone, but the buses are nearby for trips along the coast. The heating has been made very easy to control and the kitchen is well equipped."
Lovely end of terrace holiday home with a wonderful, quirky vibe, blending art deco with mid-century
8/10 Good
"A very nice house, well situated close to all the fun stuff in Folkestone. I was concerned before we went that it might be noisy at night from bars and clubs, but in fact it was totally fine and quiet. Even the cars on the road outside are quite quiet from the front bedroom, which is right at the top of the house. Keepers are brilliant to deal with, e.g. I couldn't find the heating controls, but they talked me through it right away on the phone without delay or fuss. Folkestone has so much going for it, whether you're coming for a weekend or longer."
