"Very unique place. Great staff and quiet rooms."

"Fantastic property! All of the staff were super welcoming & very attentive. Augustín gave great recommendations for the city & helped us set a beautiful estuary tour of Las Baulas park. All in all, we had a great stay! Thank you for having us!!"

"Amazing place si relaxing and welcoming"

"Hotel was clean and well maintained."

"Very cozy bungalows. Staff was friendly and breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommended"

"If you want a quaint, authentic Costa Rican stay, this place is for you. I feel the poor reviews come from people expecting a luxury resott despite paying less than half the price. The rooms were clean, the staff was kind and helpful, and we saw so many different animals right at thr hotel. We saw scarlet macaws, squirrel monkeys, agouti, and iguanas daily, some up close. Howler monkeys visited on 2 of our 8 days. It was a perfect experience."

"Always clean and friendly staff. Have stayed a few times already!"

"Such a wonderful stay. Wish I stayed longer, but I’m not as interested in Tamarindo in general. If you plan on coming here, this is a great place to stay."

"We felt at ease with the host and hot breakfast was yummy"

"Very friendly staff! Thanks Sergio for your kindness. The rooms could need a little refreshment to enjoy more the stay, but the place is very cool! And food delicious "

"Nice place, good value for the money"

"La Terraza is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It’s centrally located in the mountains of Costa Rica and there are many day trips only an hour away that can be made. The property itself is very beautiful and relaxing and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to my next trip there."
