I had a quiet week at hotel Mary Carman. The room was very clean and quiet, centrally located with very fair pricing. The family owned hotel was quick to lend a hand when keys were lost and recommendations needed. They were fair and honest. Very boho, vintage spaces with old records and gramophones. Such a charming, place with warm hospitable people.

Great place to stay

I’ve been staying here for years. It’s right downtown where all the restaurants are centrally located very very clean. Can’t say enough about this place. Will stay there again.

Great location, easy walk to the ferry terminal plenty of restaurants nearby felt very safe quiet comfortable very helpful staff. Appreciated the bulk filtered water in the lobby. Reduce waste with glass glasses eco-friendly. Would stay there again on future trips

Nice people and great location. The room is clean but little dated, sewer smell coming back in from shower so make sure you keep the cap on the drain when not in use.

Hotel May Carmen is a very good choice in the Heart of Cozumel shopping. Friendly and professional staff, basic and clean. Great value for your money in el centro!

Very nice with great decor. I’ll be back. I’m very happy with this budget option. I like the patio with turtles . It’s nice to have a place to cook. The breakfast could be a little better.

The hotel is really nice and the vintage decoration is amazing. My daughter and i love it! The staff was really helpful with everything; they help me a lot a couple of days that my daughter was not feeling well and also with directions, ideas or what to do, etc. The location is central.

We have used Mary Carmen for short stays over the years when airline schedules and resort schedules did not match up. Very friendly and close to food / shopping in downtown San Migel.

Great stay at HMC.

Great stay at Hotel Mary Carmen. Room was updated since last year, with new tile in bathroom, and nice shower head. Ac worked great and also ceiling fan when ac was not necessary. In room safe was nice, and plenty of water available in dispensers on each floor. The turtles are still there in the courtyard, making that area pleasant. Jose Angel at front desk is helpful as always.

We only stayed here for one night but we loved it! The hotel is quaint and unique. The front desk staff was fantastic and answered all of our questions, helped us with scooter rentals, and gave us tips on things to see and do. We also loved that there were so many dining and shopping options within walking distance. We would stay here again.

The indoor terrace is super cool! Lots of turtles live there and they are fun to watch. Rooms are older but still clean. Not a lot of street noise or barking dogs. Full security 24 hours a day is nice to have.
