"We had a lovely stay. Comfortable and clean. We planned a Salem weekend and needed a quiet and calm, pet-friendly, family friendly house. Very spacious. Incredible views and waterfront near the boat yard. The location made for a great morning walk. The host was awesome. Very welcoming and super nice. We are really happy we stayed here."

"The property was just as pictured. The kitchen was well equipped and the oven worked great. My golden retriever enjoyed the backyard while I enjoyed the deck. There was more privacy than anticipated which was a plus. The cottage was decorated in a warm and cozy fashion that was relaxing and delightful. Thanks!"

"The listing was very misleading. Booked for 6 people and it said it was a 6 bedroom. Turns out one was a basement and the other was a couch in the breezeway. Unbelievable. Also the checkout was ridiculous. Special grocery bags were required but not even one was provided. The most ridiculous request was that we wash, dry, and put away all towels before we left or a 175 “laundry fee” was applied. Like people don’t take showers and then leave. No, we had to wait to do laundry. Also unbelievable. "

"Great location, view and wonderful old beachhouse. the climb up was brutal - I definitely got my steps in!! It would have been nice if the house was less cluttered. So many trinkets and Knick knacks made it a bit claustrophobic. The kitchen woujd be so lovely if you cleaned it out and put back 1/4 of the stuff. Master bedroom was amazing! I gave our stay three stars because it was very dirty. The kitchen sink drains were slimy and disgusting and we arrived to a large bouquet of almost dead flowers. I’m highly allergic to flowers as is one of the other guests. It made for an uncomfortable couple of days until the pollen dissipated. I encourage you to perhaps pay closer attention to the job your cleaner is doing. It’s a lovely old home but does need some love and attention. "

"Beautiful home, close to the beach. Air conditioning wasn’t great and fridge didn’t get very cold. Enjoyed the deck space "
