"You couldn't ask for a better host or more magnificent setting. We were greeted with a glorious view, spacious and well-appointed home, great selction of pots and pans for cooking, plenty of parking, easy access and walkable to town. This is a perfect home to enjoy the outdoors, the scenery, family/friends. We will be back !!"

"Location was perfect and the apt. Was very clean and was great for myself, my daughter, and her 3 kids. We did have numerous power outages which came back on immediately. Hot water was in short supply in mornings for showers. However, these few inconveniences were of little concern. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a beautiful town!"

"Apartment is large and spacious. It is perfect for our family of five. It had great parking and you could walk around the quiet town. Location allowed train access to Boston and Salem. It was a quick drive to the shore. We had some trouble with the above neighbor causing damage to the property, but the owner was honest and respectful to refund us money when our travel insurance would not cover it. I only give 4 stars as the dishwasher was broken and I hate doing dishes on vacation. Also, the wood stairs were extremely slippery with rain and snow and we kept falling or slipping on them without a towel or rug in the main entrance. "

"The property was just as pictured. The kitchen was well equipped and the oven worked great. My golden retriever enjoyed the backyard while I enjoyed the deck. There was more privacy than anticipated which was a plus. The cottage was decorated in a warm and cozy fashion that was relaxing and delightful. Thanks!"

"The listing was very misleading. Booked for 6 people and it said it was a 6 bedroom. Turns out one was a basement and the other was a couch in the breezeway. Unbelievable. Also the checkout was ridiculous. Special grocery bags were required but not even one was provided. The most ridiculous request was that we wash, dry, and put away all towels before we left or a 175 “laundry fee” was applied. Like people don’t take showers and then leave. No, we had to wait to do laundry. Also unbelievable. "
