"A fabulous property which offers more than its post suggests. I booked a double room with a kitchenette and it’s basically a suite! Huge windows, elegant drapes, places to sit. The street is quiet and the trees outside smell great. And having (basic) cooking facilities means I have saved a fortune in dining out. I would definitely come back here - thank you, Portland! Very comfy bed, too, I have slept like a log."

"Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. They did not put us in the original room booked but found a room as we booked after the first night. We would stay again. Seeing both rooms some are in better condition than others but they all were clean and spacious for a room in London."

"We were bumped by the Grange Blooms hotel into their less attractive but nearby sister hotel, the Grange Whitehall. Great location, but a very average hotel, falling apart a bit."

"The Grange Lancaster was shut and we had no information about this on the website. On arrival, the only information was a tiny notice on the entrance of the hotel redirecting us to another of the grange hotels. On arrival at that hotel, there was no record of our booking and was directed to a third hotel within the chain. We spent over an hour after a long journey trying to check in.
