"VISITED THIS PROPERTY SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS BUT HAVE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY UNTIL NOW. WASNT DISSAPPOINTED EVERTHING FROM THE ROOM, BAR, FOOD INCLUDING BREAKFAST AND OF CORSE THE STAFF. THE ONLY NEGATIVES WERE LIMITED PARKING AND NO ROOM SAFE."

"The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of."

"Lovely stay at Pooley Bridge Inn where I received a warm welcome. Very comfortable room with a lovely bed and great shower. Not too noisy considering it’s above the pub but the pub serves excellent food and a great range of drinks. Breakfast was good too with very lovely serving staff. Parking was easy and a great location to get the best from the area. I was travelling alone and would recommend to other Lake District explorers."

"Absolutely beautiful cottage. Outstanding value. Plenty space for us 5 adults. We all felt at peace. And very well rested. When we arrived Dave greeted us. He had lit the wood burner and had festive tunes on the tv. Christmas 🎄 was beautiful and all the extra trimmings. Bottle of bubbles 🫧 🾠in the fridge. Very well equipped kitchen with sparkling 🥂. Beds were amazingly comfortable and their decor in rooms. Beautiful wall papers. Log store outside £5 a basket very reasonable. The local village has 3 pub restaurants. Beautiful village. Penrith is a short drive away. Also full of history. I was loving the dates above the houses. We are planning are next visit with family all ready."
