As always, the property was spotless and the staff outstanding in their helpfulness. Quiet rooms, downtown location, in-stay excellent dining. Valued the valet service and a below market cost for the stay. Check it out.

Residence Inn Des Moines Downtown
The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and kind. We slept well and it was a very convenient location. We had our little dog and he got along just great. We had some breakfast and it was really good!

Stoney Creek Hotel Des Moines - Johnston
Very cute and cozy place. Staff is great, very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Just a couple things we were displeased with: Dirty towel left hanging over the curtain rod in bathroom.
