"This is the third time we have stayed and are never disappointed. If you are visiting friends or family in Lake Monticello, this is a perfect spot."

The Wi-Fi was spotty, which made staying connected a bit tricky. The kitchen was not equipped with a set of steak or sharp knives, nor were there dish towels or cloths to clean up dirty dishes. "Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ...

"The home was perfect. Beautiful setting, clean, attentive hosts - with easy access to Mt. Ida Vineyard. We could walk to the Tasting Room to enjoy wine and delicious food. We even hosted a cocktail party at the vineyard for friends -- and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A wonderful stay. "
