"Best hotel we stayed in did not want to leave"

"We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. "

"The hotel is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious! It is very noisy at night. We could hear every footstep and creak of the floorboards from the guests in the room upstairs and they did wake us up."

"We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor but we noticed straight away that the toilet was leaking. The staff were straight onto the problem but it couldn't be quickly fixed so we were moved to an alternative room which was more spacious and with a nicer outlook. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts and booked to eat in the hotel each night and were not disappointed- good food, and not too pricey. "Hotel is about a 20min walk to the tower. Smooth check in, reception very polite. Room was large, double and a single beds. Not one of the newly decorated ones but still nice. Kettle didn't work but was replaced. 3 main meals to choose from plus one vegetarian option. If you don't get there early for the evening meal desserts are scarce. Didn't use the pool. We had a pleasant stay and would stay again"

"The room was small but comfortable and clean. The food was very good - both the buffets and the plated main course dinner. Our young server Jake was very hard working and efficient. One problem was there isn't enough seating in the ballroom for the evenings entertainment. Overall though an enjoyable stay and will definitely return."
