"The hotel is advertised as three stars, but it’s far from that. The carpet was filthy, and the room clearly needs maintenance and a much better cleaning. We arrived around 10:50 PM and found the reception closed, so we had to go to another address about six minutes away just to pick up the keys."

"Lovely casa rural, sympathetically restored to provide comfortable accommodation. Especially enjoyed the view of the goats from our room. Lots of information about what to see and do locally. We caught the train from Bermeo up the estuary to Gernika, a lovely trip."

"Bermeo est très agréable, en bord de mer, à proximité de sites d' intérêt ( Guernica, musée Guggenheim). Très bon séjour. Une bouilloire classique ou électrique sera la bienvenue dans la cuisine :)"
