Family Friendly Hotels in Tennessee

"I purchased a King Bed room from Hotels.com and thought it came with breakfast. When we arrived, they told us that since it was sold through a 3rd party (Hotels.com/Expedia) that the breakfast was not included but would be 14.99 per person each day. They also informed us that they were sold out of the king size beds. When I asked them how because I had made reservations earlier and confirmed the day we left to go to Nashville. They said that 3rd parties often do not know what is available. They could only offer us two queen beds and tey supposedly upgraded us to a room on a higher floor with a better view. I'm not sure what the view was supposed to be of. All I could see was the roof top of some of the surrounding buildings. I would not consider it an upgrade. In addition, the parking cost an additional $55 per day. There was a $50 per day incidentals charge that they say should be refunded. Also, they tried to collect an additional $100 for our service animal - which we quickly informed them was not legal. So, we did not get the room we paid for and ended up having to pay an additional $300+. Also, the shower doors would not stay shut so we had to hold them to keep the water from spraying in the floor. Definitely was not the "bargain" we thought we were getting. I knew I should have booked directly with Hyatt. I've never had issues with them like this when booking direct."

"Rooms were clean. Hotel older so strange sink in main room with toliet alone facing bed. Views were great sitting out on balconies. Breakfast was wonderful. Older part of town, but good pricing for rooms."
