"We booked through Expedia so they gave us a room facing a road. It was fine though. The room was a little dated, but clean. The food was okay. La chez was the best restaurant. We liked the relaxing atmosphere of the adult only resort. Most of the staff were great. "

"The hotel receptionist did not provide any information about the hotel upon arrival. We had to visit the front desk to request pool towels and obtain basic hotel details. During checkout, we had to carry our luggage down two flights of stairs and walk to reception because no one responded to our request for assistance. We stayed in Room 201-K, a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit. The furnishings were very simple, and the twin beds were quite uncomfortable. Upon entering the unit, there was a strong humidity odor, and there were many mosquitoes inside the room. No elevators. The master bathroom consistently had a strong sewage odor, similar to untreated wastewater, which made it very unpleasant. Additionally, the glass shower door was not installed properly and swung from side to side, creating a safety hazard when entering the shower. I did report this issue during checkout. The kitchen was not properly equipped; there were no basic supplies available, not even a kitchen towel. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely slow. The reception staff appeared very disorganized, and overall the unit felt outdated and in need of a full renovation. Pros:The beach was nice, and the food was acceptable. The servers were very kind and attentive. The pool area was nice, although it was not as large as advertised. Guests have the option to add an all-inclusive package or stay without it. spacious, large closets, good air conditioning, fans."

"I had a wonderful stay at this massive and beautiful resort, which offers a great balance of grand scale and genuine hospitality. The staff throughout the property are incredibly friendly and attentive, though I would suggest that the restaurant servers have a stronger command of English to help the ordering process run more smoothly. I would also love to see the resort expand their menu to include more vegetarian and vegan options, as the current selection is a bit limited. The adults-only side of the resort is particularly impressive—it’s peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the on-site professional photographers if you want high-quality photos to remember your trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend to others."

"This was the craziest place I have ever stayed in 42 years of life. When we checked in, we had no blankets, no hair dryer, no face towels - which would have been totally fine but the phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk to request any of these items. The next day I asked a staff member, he wrote my requests down but nothing happened. We drank the two bottles of water they provided (tap was undrinkable). The ceiling leaked in the bathroom onto my husband’s toiletries. The following day I asked for more water and again for the phone to be fixed, to no avail. I wound up dumping soda from the fridge (there was plenty of that) to be able to bring back water from the bar. They finally gave me a hair dryer, but the ceiling leaked on it again. My choices were go to dinner with wet hair again or be electrocuted. The following day was my husband’s birthday. They didn’t bring us water, but they gifted us a bottle of rum. My sister tried to fill up her water at the front desk welcome station and was scolded. We’re denied entry to dinner for 5 minutes because the restaurant staff member spelled our last name wrong. At dinner, the high chairs are all taken; my mother in law has to go find one at another restaurant bc the staff won’t take initiative. When we got back to the room, there was a blaring dance party that made it impossible to sleep. Last day: we get four bottle of water, a fixed phone blankets, pillows brought to our room, just in time to fly home. "

"The rooms were dated but clean. The staff was ok. Didn’t come across anybody that was rude or unhelpful but none of them went above & beyond either. Pool and beach were beautiful but you need to be up at 7am to get chairs reserved. Spa was wonderful. The buffets were mediocre at best - unique/odd options and nothing seemed very hot & fresh. "
