"On arrival at the Holiday inn, we booked our car in straight away, which was only £5 for the night. We then checked in with the front desk who explained where our room was, we needed to pay a deposit which wasn’t mentioned on booking, but was ok. We went to the room which was spotless & very well designed with the most amazing shower, it was huge….. The bed was massive, made with a quilt and 2 pillows each. The curtains were sealed down the side so when closed there was no outside light coming in. I loved the fact you could turn all the lights on/off right by the bed. The towels were fluffy and extremely soft and very white. The shower was a rainfall shower with very good power and the shower gel and shampoo were attached to the wall and smelt sooooo good. I asked for more teabags which were brought up to the room within 5mins. Breakfast in the morning had everything you could ask for, the sausages were the best bit for me. The restaurant was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and very presentable. Check out was quick and easy and the deposit was back in my account within 2 hrs. I was the 1st time I had stayed in The Holiday Inn, it won’t be the last, I think I would choose it over any other if I had the option. We had a Kingsize room on the 3rd floor, there was no noise from outside and apart from the odd door closing there was no noise from the other people staying. Highly recommend here if you’re anywhere near Nottingham."

"Great location, I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Hotel offers free car parking. And great views of Jubilee Campus. The Flexi card (to access the room using my phone) didn’t work. So I had to get a physical card. But other than that - a straightforward visit. Sometimes noise from the atrium did echo around the building - but it wasn’t a huge problem"

"Well positioned to walk into the City centre, yet in a quiet corner so no traffic noise or the like. Nice room and view. Very clean and well-maintained throughout the property. I found the bar a strange room, but nice if you can sit outside. Staff very good. The gym is not a gym, merely a cross-trainer and a couple of small dumbbells in a very small room. In fairness the hotel calls it a "fitness room" and it is expedia that categorises it as a gym. Overall very good though."

"Its location was great We hired it for my daughter’s graduation at the University and it was in easy walking distance. Very comfortable and pleasant patio at the rear and sizeable lawn. Could have benefited from heavier darker bedroom curtains."
