"Great location and lovely staff. Apartment was just the job for our Edinburgh stay. Clean and tidy enough with everything we needed. Did get very warm inside and the walls are quite thin so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll need ear plugs. Car park underground is handy and safe. Does have a lot of pigeons nesting there so if you want too avoid getting too much bird poop on your paintwork be careful where you park or take a car cover."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leondaro Royal Hotel. My partner and I were visiting Edinburgh for the very first time and we were travelling via train, the location of the hotel was perfect! Just a 5 minute walk and we were there. The lobby was stunning, we were greeted by the lovely staff at Reception and were even offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco each on arrival. The room itself, 708 specifically, was stunning. It felt really modern and clean and the view was incredible. As it was my birthday, the hotel had even arranged a card for me and a very generous chocolate bar too, which really was the cherry on the cake! We’d definitely stop here again."

"What a fabulous hotel, we visited for my husbands 50th Birthday it was a surprise, I had great communication before we went including booking the shuttle and a table for dinner. We were given a complimentary upgrade which totally made the stay and a lovely note and chocolate left from Brooke. We spent the evening in the hotel and had a gorgeous dinner, highly recommend the pork loin! Highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back, great communication, from booking, the lovely bar staff, our server at dinner till we left on the shuttle thanks to everyone for a lovely stay."

"The room was definitely dated and there were three of us in the room and housekeeping only ever left two towels. We had to ask for extra a few times and toilet paper. The best part of this property is the restaurant. Great food and nice staff although on the slow side and not too attentive to guests. Several times we had to find a waiter. It was also hopping with bus tour groups so super busy in the evening. Good for a short stay."

"We loved the location on the Royal Mile and our room on the 4th Floor. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast at John’s Coffee Shop located on site within the lobby was superb!"
