"There was construction at the hotel, which I was not made aware of prior to booking but for the most part the hotel was excellent. The staff was very polite, kind and professional. I really appreciate the service. The breakfast was excellent. The upgraded room was a nice touch, allowing me to see the castle from my room."

"Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Pool facilities were lovely and relaxing especially considering how poor the weather was the weekend we visited. Really excellent location for getting around the city as well as Waverley train station. Breakfast was also lovely. I would definitely stay again!"

"Though the location on Southbridge was excellent for Waverley rail station, the surrounding area was very busy with many vulnerable people about and I felt intimidated. The hotel and lobby were quite secure with a constant presence of reception staff."

"Well appointed rooms. Lively lobby space and restaurant, the only downside is that you have to often walk single file to your room if it's on the opposite side of the bar when it's busy. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in a quiet location with city centre a brisk fifteen minute walk away."
