"This hotel doesn't look like anything special from the road. However, the rooms were well kept and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good shape. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, etc. -- Probably the coolest feature of the hotel is an outdoor Tiki bar, which has several TV's. No breakfast is offered at this hotel, so if that's important to you, book elsewhere. Otherwise, for the money, this was a decent place to stay."

"At check in the man was rude about not being able to check in due to the name in the reservation not being my name. My husband’s name was on the reservation and he was not with me cuz he was unable to travel. The man was not very understanding. Also the parking was not very easy to maneuver in. Trucks blocking driveways and only one car is able to drive in the driveways."

"Great location, nice big room, loved the ability to cook a meal and the big fridge and freezer. Valet parking available, but be aware you pay twice as much as the nearby parking garage. The staff is friendly. I think with adding a good chair to the room and keep up the maintenance i would give Mint House a 5 star. I prefer a more firm mattress. Definetly will consider this place next time visiting St Pete."

"We had requested an early check-in and arrived at 1pm. The person at reception told us our room wasn't ready due to having a full turn over, but they'd call when it was. We were able to hang out by the pool, but we were never contacted. We went back to reception after 4pm and our room was ready. Overall, the location and amenities were great and we would probably stay here again. There were a few minor inconveniences like the parking being more expensive that what the website stated and having a paper-thin adjoining door that made our neighbors sound like they were in our room. "
